Chambord Truffle Hat
With the yarn I had left over after knitting my Chambord Truffle cardigan, I designed this pretty hat. The tie/bow gives it a vintagey vibe, whilst the slouchly shape keeps it looking modern. Sized to fit the average adult woman’s head.
Finished Hat Band Circumference: 18” / 46cm
Materials:
MC: Artyarns Silk Rhapsody (50% Silk, 50% Kid Mohair), 100g/3.53oz, 260yds/238m.
1 Skein of 167.
CC: Artyarns Beaded Silk (100% Silk w/Glass Beads), 50g/1.76oz, 100yds/91.44m.
1 Skein of 130s
Or yarn that knits to specified gauge.
Needles:
1 pair of US 5/3.75mm knitting needles
and 1 24”/60cm or longer US 7/4.5mm circular needle
if using the Magic Loop method.
If preferred you could use a set of US 7/4.5mm double pointed needles.
Gauge:
21 stitches x 30 rows = 4”/10cm worked in Stockinette Stitch using US 7/4.5mm knitting needles or size needed to obtain gauge.
